IT Support Engineer - North London - £30,000 to £35,000 Benefits

We are working with an established Software Provider, based in near London, who need an IT Support Engineer to join their team which handles network, application, and server issues. The IT Support Engineer will be the first point of contact for the users, so great communication skills and the ability to multitask will be essential.

The IT Support Engineer will be heavily involved in dealing with both the issues raised by the users and extensive project work, resulting in a great opportunity to develop their skillset. The IT Support Engineer will also be involved in upgrading their current applications and infrastructure including an Azure migration.

Essential Criteria for the IT Support Engineer:

* Commutable location to Slough and Loughton
* Good communication skills
* Experience working in a Service Desk environment and following ITIL processes
* Office 365 - general support e.g. SharePoint permissions, MFA issues, File issues with OneDrive, Teams
* Active Directory - adding managers and group permissions
* Windows 10 - support
* Built VM's on either VMware/Hyper-V or Azure and can follow build instructions

Desirables for the IT Support Engineer:

* Networking experience - Cisco ASA firewalls (or other vendors), TCP-IP, Routing/Switching, VLANs
* Built VMs in Azure
* SCCM in MDOP experience - deployments
* WSUS - patching servers
* Linux - monitoring / managing devices
* SQL - checking backups and running queries
* Microsoft Certifications
