PMO Lead (Financial Services) - 6 Month Contract - London
Rate: £400 to £420 per day
The role:
A PMO Lead is required on a 6-month contract basis for a leading Financial Services organisation based in Central London.
Working as part of a large, IT Transformation Programme, the PMO Lead will own and run the PMO Office for the IT element of the Programme, ensuring governance is correct and creating/maintaining key relationships and inter-dependencies
Responsibilities:

Introducing PMO Processes
*
RAID logs
*
Run the PMO Office for the IT element of the Programme
*
Setting up Governance standards for the Programme
*
Input into the planning process and identifying all deliverables in accordance with milestones and general project framework
*
Managing weekly reports
*
Managing Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions, in terms of the management of the logs, ensuring everything in in order and up to date
*
Reviewing the budgets - ensuring these are up to date, suppliers, tracking against statements of work, working with financial information
*
Working closely with the Programme Manager to collate and report on information - Report this up to the Programme Board

Planning: Track against the plans, using basic Project Management Toolset - RAID logs, Project Plans
Essential Experience:
*
Exposure to large Programmes in a PMO role
*
IT PMO background rather than purely business-focused
*
Good stakeholder Management skills - Presenting up to C-Level
*
Comfortable working with minimal direction
*
Previous work running the IT element of a PMO office
*
Flexible 'all hands on deck' attitude/approach to work
