IT Support Engineer - £40,000 - £45,000 Benefits - Central London
A Managed Services client of mine are looking to hire an IT Support Engineer to join their IT team. The IT Support Engineer will be joining a busy team and will be responsible for providing 2nd/3rd Line Support to users over the phone, via remote support, face to face and via email to their clients. The role of IT Support Engineer will allow the successful candidate to develop their career and also having the opportunity to move into a 3rd Line Engineer role in the foreseeable future.
The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing high level 2nd/3rd Line Support to clients. In addition, the IT Support Engineer will get involved in troubleshooting general network infrastructure issues, remote access issues, monitoring backups, anti-virus', Windows updates and many other projects. The IT Support Engineer will also have the opportunity to write up technical guides and documentation and provide training to junior members of the team. In this role the IT Support Engineer will be liaising with other departments across IT on a regular basis to ensure that the best service possible is delivered at all times.
Key Skills - IT Support Engineer:
* Windows 7/10 * Windows Server 2012 * VMware or Hyper V * Office 365 - mailbox creation & distribution lists * Active Directory - user management & group policies * Imaging - used any tool * Networking- DNS, DHCP, Switches & Routers
Desirable Skills - IT Support Engineer:
* Previous Managed Services experience * Microsoft Certification * ITIL Certified * Experience working within a team and individually
