3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer - £45,000 - £50,000 Benefits - Cambridge
An award-winning market leading client of mine are looking for a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to maintain their existing infrastructure and deliver multiple projects to improve their current systems. This organisation who truly put their employees at the centre of everything they do will heavily invest in supporting the successful 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer through vast amounts of training. As a result of being heavily involved in numerous projects as well a lot of training the 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer will be able to extensively develop their skillset in a fast-paced environment.
The 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer will be heavily involved in moving the company from on-premise to cloud, some of the projects within that include; migrating from Exchange to Office 365 and adopting an AWS or Azure environment. Along with these pieces of work, the 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer will be involved in a number of other projects within the infrastructure space.
Key Skills - 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer:
* Windows Server 2012 - troubleshooting
* Exchange or Office 365 - migrate mailboxes
* Hyper-V or VMware - build VMs
* Active Directory - group policies & FSMO roles
* SQL Server - database management
* Networking - layer 2
Desirable Skills - 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer:
* Microsoft Certified
* Security experience - Sophos or Mimecast preferable
* Previously worked in an AWS or Azure environment
* Cisco switching
