Scaled Agile (SAFe) Programme Consultant - 6 Month Contract

Location: Reading

The role:

A leading institution are currently seeking a Certified (SAFe) Programme Consultant to play a critical role in a major organisational-wide transformation initiative to implement scaled agile. Combining your technical knowledge of SAFe, you will look to improve the organisations system development and software processes, enabling them to realise key objectives for 2020 /2021.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

*

Lead an enterprise Lean-Agile transformation
*

Implement the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
*

Communicate the business need, urgency, and vision for change.
*

Empower with implementation of Lean Portfolio Management
*

Develop the Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence, building and executing the transformation backlog.
*

Align the organisation to a common language and way of working
*

Perform both Operational and Development Value Stream identification
*

Launch and support Agile Release Trains, and coordinate Large Solutions
*

Build and execute an implementation rollout strategy
*

Train managers and executives in Leading SAFe

Background / Experience

*

A proven track record delivering significant change into organisations
*

Significant knowledge and understanding of Agile, Scrum and Lean Principles, and experience delivering Scaled Agile
*

Have fulfilled a role as a ScrumMaster, Programme Manager, with a strong background in systems
*

A proven, excellent, communicator (written, oral and presentation skills) at all levels of organisation, building and owning relationships

Qualifications

*

Certified as a SAFe Programme Consultant
