Application Support Analyst - Bank - 6 Month FTC - up to £50,000 pro rata
My leading financial client based in Bank is currently looking for an Application Support Analyst to join their team. They are looking for someone who can provide technical application and system support to internal business functions and their customers.
The Application Support Analyst will be meeting service level agreements that have been set within the company while maintain the systems stability for the company.
Key Responsibilities for the Application Support Analyst:
* 2nd/3rd Line Application Support * Working with 3rd party vendors * Application monitoring and capacity tuning * Maintaining system stability along with high availability * Completing daily check-ups * Issue and prioritise effectively * Taking lead on complex issues
Essential skills for the Application Support Analyst:
* Previous experience in an Application Support role * Experience with SQL * High level debugging and problem-solving skills * Ability to liaise and work with 3rd party vendors and internal management * Understanding of methodologies e.g. Agile and Waterfall
Desirable skills for the Application Support Analyst:
* Experience of working with core applications such as SWIFT, Bloomberg and Reuters * Operational tool experience such as App Dynamics and Control-M * ITIL Qualified * Experience with .NET or Java applications
