The role of a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:
As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer you will be joining a dynamic team in a growing company. This role will allow you the experience of managing the entire IT infrastructure and as such will get the opportunity to work with a number of technologies and deal with a number of issues across the estate. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the infrastructure team and as such will get exposure to 3rd line level. My client is looking for an ambitious 2nd Line IT Support Engineer who can communicate effectively to users at all levels.
Essential Skills for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:
The 2nd Line IT Support Engineer must have previous experience of operating within at a 2nd Line level.
* Experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10 * Office 365 * Active Directory - group policies * Outlook * Hardware * WAN * Hyper-V / VMWare * Windows Servers 2008 / 2012 - Implementation * Backups
Desirable skills for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer include:
* Azure * Microsoft Certified * Exposure to 3rd Line
