Role: 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Central London

Rate: £125 - 140 / day

Duration: 8 weeks Ext

My client are looking for a 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer to join their team for an initial 8 week contract supporting a school environment paying up to £125 - 140 / day.

The ideal 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer will have experience supporting schools, although this is not essential.

They are looking for a 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer who has experience with Active Directory, basic networking protocols and ideally Office 365 or Exchange support. The successful 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer will be involved in a number of projects moving forward, including an Office 365 and a SharePoint piece.

* Previous experience of supporting schools
* OneDrive, SharePoint
* Windows Server - File Permissions, New Accounts

* Microsoft certifications

The ideal 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer will be able to work within a team and work independently, being able to take the initiative to solve issues they may not necessarily be familiar with. As such, this role will allow the successful 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer to build on their existing skill set, gaining exposure to new technologies and projects.

The 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer will ideally already hold DBS Clearance, or will be in a position to pass DBS clearance.
